Just thought I would give everyone a little tip about the economic stimulus payments. My social ends in 02 and I had direct deposit. So I waited and waited and no check. Nothing is being said on IRS.gov and not to many people seem to know what is going on. Turns out there are thousands of people who didn’t get a check when they thought they would. Here’s the reason why.
I used TurboTax online to do my taxes and I allowed them to take the fees from my tax refund. The problem is, when you do that or get an anticipation loan, the IRS isn’t the one directly depositing to my account, its Santa Barbara bank. So, the government will be sending me a regular check.

You’re mistaken in some cases. Thankfully I never count on our government or even this stimulus thing.
Up until May 10th, no info could be found, then we showed up in the very last batch on May 16th. Their site FIRST said if it was past June 2nd (today) to contact them – even THAT has been pushed back to June 13th.
So technically, since they’re obviously mailing it – even MY mail service isn’t slow enough to take 2 weeks – I can send mail to Canada regular parcel faster than that. So yes, mine’s late.
